Mac & cheese Toast Recipe

Today, I'm sharing a simple recipe for Mac and Cheese Toast. The idea for this dish came from a question I asked myself: What would I eat for breakfast if I lived in the U.S.?
Since I love cheese and have always thought mac and cheese, a popular American comfort food, looked rich and delicious, I decided to try it in toast form. Let's get started!
Ingredients
- Chef M Mac and Cheese
- 1 slice of cheddar cheese
- 1 slice of sandwich bread
- Mozzarella cheese (to taste)
1) Preparing the Mac and Cheese
Instead of making mac and cheese from scratch, I used Chef M Mac and Cheese, a convenient option you can find at the store. The pre-made version is creamy and rich enough, but I added a slice of cheddar cheese to make the sauce even more flavorful and indulgent.
After heating the mac and cheese in the microwave for about 3 minutes, I stirred in the cheddar cheese while it was still hot to let it melt completely. You could also add mozzarella cheese if you prefer an extra gooey texture-it's all up to your taste!
2) Spreading and Adding Mozzarella Cheese
Next, spread the prepared mac and cheese evenly over a slice of bread. The more you add, the juicier and more satisfying it will be, so don't hold back!
The vibrant yellow color makes it look even more appetizing. Since just the mac and cheese might feel a bit plain, I sprinkled some shredded mozzarella cheese on top. I used about a small handful, but feel free to add more if you want that dramatic stretch when you take a bite.
